Melissa graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. She went on to receive her Masters in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, and is licensed to practice in both Canada and the United Kingdom.
Her strongest motivation and drive lies in understanding and sharing her knowledge about the human body: how it functions, why it falters, and how to physically rehabilitate it back to its own highest potential.
Mel’s therapy sessions follow a comprehensive assessment with treatments focusing on helping clients feel their best through education, hands on manual therapy, movement therapy and a personalized exercise program with the intent to optimize physical function and injury prevention.
Mel also actively participates in a variety of sports and activities including football, volleyball and competing in fitness competitions.
Mel enjoys working with a variety of patients ages and is passionate about returning her clients to their highest capabilities with respect to work, home and recreational endeavors.
